Johnson City ISD is proud to announce significant salary increases as part of the 2025-2026 Employee Compensation Plan, demonstrating the district’s continued commitment to attracting, rewarding, and retaining high-quality educators and staff. The JCISD Board of Trustees approved the plan during their July board meeting. These raises were partially funded by HB 2.
Key highlights of the plan include:
$8,000 + step raise for employees on the teacher pay scale with 5 or more years of service
$4,000 + step raise for employees on the teacher pay scale with 3-4 years of service
$2,000 + step raise for employees on the teacher pay scale with 0-2 years of service
5% raise at midpoint for all other JCISD employees
In addition to these salary adjustments, district healthcare contributions will increase by $25 per month, bringing JCISD’s total monthly contribution to $325 per employee.
